Fishing from the beach has many benefits. My favorite is that there is room for everyone! However, a group exceeding 10 eager fishermen or women can be a lot for one guide to manage. To ensure everyone has the best experience imaginable, a second, or maybe even a third guide may need to be employed depending on the circumstances. Therefore the hourly rate would be raised accordingly to an agreed upon amount prior to the scheduled trip to accommodate the extra help needed. No group is too big or too small don’t hesitate to ask. As always, tips are greatly appreciated.
Offering guided trips on public beaches means that you are solely responsible for being licensed to fish in the state of Florida. If you intend to book a land based shark fishing trip, you are also required to take a free educational course that informs you of the basic “do’s&don’ts” of shark fishing along with a saltwater shoreline license. I will attach the link below
These trips will target whatever is swimming near the shore utilizing specialty surf fishing rods and tackle. One truly never knows what they might catch! From whiting and pompano, to redfish and bluefish, to my favorite, SHARKS!
